THE SMALL THINGS

A culmination of miscellaneous projects that showcase more of what I do in the day to day. these projects, while well engineered, tested, iterated and designed, are my shorter time-frame projects for a more rapid solution to an issue I came across.

This was designed out of organizational necessity. My workflow for a few prior projects had the constant use of different pliers and tweezers, and as such, I quickly grew tired of either having to grab them out of a drawer, or have them all sprawled across my desk. So I designed a solution. A stand that keeps them all withing reach, on easily viewable display, and most importantly, out of the way when not needed.

For applications where higher torque or a more natural movement on the wrist is needed, this modified screwdriver design is built with an integrated lever arm to allow for a more intuitive, natural, and powerful grip to apply rotational torque. Integrating a magnetic lock, in a way, acts as not only a conversation starter, but a level of security that invokes a second look. While they might be able to take your pen, they could never use the ink within.

Made purely for decoration, these candle holders were a fun passion project to create pretty gifts I would be able to give and produce many variations of for those who wanted them. Originally designed around this translucent red filament for it’s beautiful glow.
